How can I purchase a new domain name?
You can order an unlimited number of domains with your SiteGround hosting account.
New domain names can be registered from your Client Area > Marketplace > Domain Services.
If you register a domain name as a standalone service without a site created for it, the domain name’s nameservers will automatically be set to ns1.clev1.net and ns2.clev1.net. These are SiteGround’s system DNS used when there is no site associated with the domain name yet.
When you create a new website for the domain name, we will automatically change the domain’s nameservers, so that your domain name points to your new website with us.
