What does the transfer from Shared hosting to Cloud include?
The upgrade from your Shared hosting plan to a Cloud solution includes:
- Posting a new ticket on your behalf in which the migration will be performed.
- A new Cloud server will be set up with the hardware parameters that you set up during the order process.
- After that, sync is performed for all your data. This will include all your files, databases, email accounts and settings.
- Test the functionality of the services on the new server to ensure that the migration is completed properly.
- Finally, if your domain name is managed here, we will point it to the new server for you. If your domain name is managed remotely, then pointing it to the new server is up to you. There will be a DNS propagation, due to the DNS changes applied.
The ticket posted for the upgrade will be updated, once it is completed.
