How to Remove Joomla! Extensions

To remove components, modules, and plugins from Joomla! 4, access your admin panel and go to System > Manage > Extensions.

You will see a list of all the installed extensions on your site. If you can’t spot the one you want to uninstall, you can use the Search field to quickly search for it. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will remove the JD Simple Contact Form module. To begin, type in “JD Simple Contact Form” in the Search field and press the magnifying glass icon.

Select the checkbox next to the extension entry and then click on Uninstall to remove it.

That’s it, the selected extensions have been removed from your Joomla! 4 application!

First, you need to access your admin panel and go to Extensions > Manage > Manage.

 

You will see a list of all the installed extensions on your site. If you can’t spot the one you want to uninstall, you can use the Filter field to quickly search for it. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will remove the jHackGuard component and its plugins and modules. To begin, type in “jhackguard” in the filter field and press the magnifying glass icon.

The jHackGuard component comes with additional plugins. To remove all of them, select the checkbox fields next to each extension and click on Uninstall, located on the top menu.

That’s it, the selected extensions have been removed from your Joomla! 3 application!
